I've spent over thirty years moving between a few seats: the DAW, the editing bay, the switcher, the mixing board and the microphone.
Right now, that puts me in Charlotte, NC, producing Good Morning BT and building multiple podcasts for WBT and its sister stations at Radio One. Previously, down the road in Gastonia, I handled the full AV operation in a stadium environment: games, concerts, private events and more. Before that, you would've found me in Virginia, where I ran commercial production for Saga's eight-station cluster as Production Director: scripts, client sessions, staff training... the whole operation. And my commercial radio career truly began with Cox Media Group where I started as a multiplatform producer and air talent at their Jacksonville, FL cluster before hosting mornings and doing production for their stations in Athens, GA.
Freelance work has run alongside all of it since the early-2000s. Companies like CSX, Ortofon, Rubik Records, Spectrum Films, Bassdrive and a number of others have contracted me for narration, voiceover and finished audio and design work: built start to finish, not handed off halfway through.
I got my start at just 13 years old at WKPX-FM, based out of Piper High School in Sunrise, FL, and continued pursuing my love of radio and broadcast production at Flagler College, where I double majored in Broadcast Production and Public Relations while serving as Student Station Manager of WFCF-FM, and continued hosting a weekly show there for years after graduating.
Somewhere in the middle of all that I also became a working music producer, composer and DJ, with releases on multiple independent record labels and a catalog of unreleased material I'm still adding to. Add two decades-plus of graphic design work for ad campaigns, clothing, merchandise and album packaging and you've (almost) got the full picture.
I'm not a voice actor who picked up some editing skills on the side; I'm a producer who also happens to have a voice worth hiring.
My range runs from straight commercial reads to character work. You may have heard my voice in audio tours of traveling and permanent exhibits at the Museum of Discovery and Science, preshow announcements themed for Harry Potter, Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean and more at the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater (since closed), or in numerous commercials for local and regional businesses.
If you need a voice, I can bring one. If you need the whole thing built from scratch (scripted, produced, mixed and shipped) that's a job I can definitely show up for.
Tell me what you're working on, whether it's voiceover, production, music or design, and let's collaborate.
